Urban Fellow Interns are afforded the chance to earn college credit hours for their participation in the Urban Fellows Program. All documentation required for college credit must be completed by the student, with necessary support from their Mentor. Interns are expected to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week, a maximum of 28 hours, to their assigned service centers for the duration of the program. Interns receive challenging projects to complete in areas of the of their interest.
The Urban Fellows Program is for current college/graduate students or those who have graduated within the last two years.
The City Charter requires that City Employees must establish residence within Shelby County within six (6) months from date of Employment. Proof of residence will be required at the time of hire.
